The perfect week for Littler

The perfect week for Littler, as he won the Austrian Darts Open on Sunday. This comes after winning Night 13 of the Premier League in Liverpool on Thursday. Let’s go back to last Thursday, Luke walked out to a lot of boos from the crowd in Liverpool because of some of his tweets about Liverpool, as he is a Manchester United fan. However the teenager thrived in this atmosphere and won his first game 6-3 against the Welshmen Gerwyn Price. This pretty much rules Price out of the play off spots. See match stats below.

Littler then came up against Aspinall who just swept aside Luke Humphries winning six legs to two. This game was an absolute classic, Nathan found himself 5-2 up after seven legs of darts in a real controlling position. The eighth leg had the crowd on their feet as Littler hit six perfect darts. Even though he couldn’t strike perfection he still finished off in eleven darts to hold his through and stay in the match. Luke then pinned doubles tops at the third time of asking. He gave a bit back to the crowd after they did their best to put him off. Littler won in the deciding leg after Aspinall missed a dart at double for the match. It was one of the best matches we’ve seen in this years Premier League, a real treat for all who watched. See match stats below.

Littler then went on to win another four legs back to back putting him 5-0 and averaging 105. However, Cross did pull two legs back hitting double six first dart to make it 5-2. But there was no messing around from Luke as he went on to claim his third nightly win and cement his stop at the top of the table. See match stats below.

Following Cullens break of throw in the ninth leg, Littler broke straight back in the tenth to make it 6-4.
