Wade crashes out – Monday saw James wade crash out of the World Championships. He came up against the in form Dutchman Jermaine Wattimena. Wattimena was playing the better darts, and managed to win the opening set three legs to one. Wattimena continued to dominate, winning the second set 3-0, which put him 2-0 up in sets. The third set was more of the same from Wattimena, he even added a 126 checkout in there, which really got the crowd going. Jermaine won the game 3-0, knocking Wade out in his first match. Wattimena really does have the potential to go far in this tournament, and will definitely be a lot of peoples dark horse.

Wade crashes out – World Championship
The opening night of the PDC World Darts Championship, saw Luke Humphries start his defence, by beating Tricole 3-0. Gerwyn Price was in action monday night. He faced a lot of questions going into the game, about his form throughout the year, with a lot of early exits in big tournaments. However, Price delivered on the big stage, as he beat Keane Barry 3-0 to go through to the third round. Before the Price game, it was Cameron Menzies against Leonard Gates. Gates put on a real show for the crowd, hitting some big finishes and following them up with some cracking dance moves. Unfortunately Menzies did get emotional at the end of the game, as he could see he was heading out. I’m sure he will be back stronger, and have a lot more better times on that stage, than he did on Monday.
