Unbelievable darts from Littler – The Final
The Final of the World Series Of Darts Finals was Luke Littler v Michael Smith. The game started how we all thought it would, fast paced and high scores. Littler delivered the first real moment of magic in the fourth leg when he took out 140 to make the game two legs a piece. Luke followed that 140 up with a 130 in the next leg which took the roof of the AFAS Live Arena in Amsterdam. Littler was dominant after the first break and managed to go into the second break 7-3 and firmly in control of this match. Littler broke Smith’s throw straight after the break and then went on to hold his own, hitting double tops to put him 9-3 up. Luke won the next leg pinning his favourite double ten to go one away from victory.
Littler went on to miss a dart at bullseye to win the match, this left Smith the opportunity to take out 170 to save himself and he did just that. It was an unbelievable shot from Michael Smith to keep himself in the match. The pair joked after as the both did the action of reeling in the big fish. Both players scoring in the next leg was unbelievable, however Smith missed three darts at double 19 which left Littler the chance to hit double 10, which he did to win the game 11-4 and become the 2024 World Series Of Darts Finals Champion. See match stats below.
