The two Lukes triumph – On Thursday Exeter saw the world number one Luke Humphries win night four of the premier league of darts. First up for Humphries was last week’s champion, Gerwyn Price. Price found himself an early lead, however this did not last for long. In the fourth leg Luke checked out 156 to pull the game back to two legs a piece. Then both players held their throws twice, until the ninth leg. Luke Broke Prices throw, which allowed him to then hold his throw, and win the match 6-4.

The two Lukes triumph – The UK Open
It was also the return of the FA Cup of darts on the Weekend. The UK Open got Underway in Minehead. Littler started his campaign winning an absolute thriller against Peter Wright, beating him 10-9. He then went on to beat Wattimena, Ratajski and Gian van Veen, before setting up a Semi Final clash with “The Ferret” Johnny Clayton.
The game started evenly, both players kept battling it out, with nothing separating them. This was until the twelfth leg, when Littler gained a two leg lead over Clayton. He then went on to win the game 11-6, putting him into the Final.
In the Final Littler came up against James Wade, who was in fantastic form. However Littler was just far to good for Wade, he destroyed “The Machine”, winning the game 11-2 and becoming the 2025 UK Open Champion.
