Littler Showboating in America – As we’ve started to see from Litter in recent weeks, not only is he one of the best dart players in the world, he’s also one of the best entertainers in the PDC. He loves to put on a show for the crowd and get them on their feet. Littler took part in the US Darts Masters on the weekend and came up against Gerwyn Price in the semi finals. Littler found himself 6-3 down in the match, one leg away from defeat. The Welshman, Gerwyn Price, was sat on 191 well behind littler who was on 50. Littler stepped up to the oche with 50 to take out and instead of doing what most players would do, which is hit a single to leave a double, he decided to spice things up a bit. He went straight for the bullseye and hit it! The crowd jumped up, the commentators couldn’t believe it and I think Luke Littler was the only person in the arena without a smile on his face, as he picked up his darts and just got on with it.

Littler Showboating in America
This wasn’t the only time Littler put on a show for the crowd. This one did not go down as well with his opponent. In Luke’s opening match, he came up against Matt Campbell. He absolutely obliterated him, winning the game in just under 10 minutes. He was 5-0 up and sat on 185 after just six darts thrown, with Campbell being on 341. Now again, the conventional root would be to leave yourself on a double if you can. Littler just decided to fire in a 180 to leave himself on 5, just because he can! The crowd loved it, unlike Campbell who shook his head and chucked his darts away. Like they said in commentary, a player should be able to take out a leg however they want to. Campbell should be concentrating on his own game.
