Littler beat by eight-year-old

Littler beat by eight-year-old – Last week the teenage sensation Luke “The Nuke” Littler played in Cardiff at the Summer Showdown darts exhibition. Darts exhibitions aren’t serious events so in this one an eight year old boy was picked at random from the crowd to play Littler on the stage. The kid, Noah Kendall, ended up beating Luke Littler 1-0. The crowd went wild when Noah won the match against the current Premier League Champion.

It was later found out that Noah trains about 16 hours a week and only started playing darts about 2 years ago. Also when the new darts season starts he is going to start playing for Buckinghamshire County which is an extremely high level for an eight year old and bearing in mind that he only started playing 2 years ago.

Littler beat by eight-year-old – what happened after ?

Noah and his mum were interviewed after the match by the BBC. His mum said that “It’s been a very, very exciting weekend. It was amazing, absolutely amazing”. She also said “It’s been an incredible year, he’s loving every minute of it”. Noah was asked if it gets much better than beating Luke Littler? He replied “Not really, no”. Sounds like this eight year old may as well take an early retirement.

Littler made this Kid’s day even better. After he lost he was very sporting in defeat and then gave Noah some of his flights. Even though he is not world number one, for a lot of people Littler is the face of darts at the moment. So for this kid to beat him on stage in front of a crowd, well that doesn’t happen to most eight year old boys.
