Humphries Victorious in Prague – Last 16
Luke Humphries’s last 16 opponent was a promising young Dutchman, Gian Van Veen. The game started quite tight with both players playing well and Van Veen doing well to stay in the game, however, this changed in the fifth leg when Humphries reeled in the Big Fish. This put Luke 4-2 and then pushed him on to win the next two legs and end the game a 6-2 winner. See match stats below.

Humphries Victorious in Prague – Semi Final
Luke Humphries came up against a very inform Luke Littler. Just so you get an idea of just how inform he was, his lowest average in his first three games was 110.43. So Humphries knew he had a big job on his hands. Luke Humphries started the game unbelievably, racing into a 3-0 against Littler, who was still playing some pretty good darts.
Littler carried on playing some exceptional darts and in the sixth leg, found himself six darts into a nine darter, but it wasn’t to be this time! The ninth leg of this match turned out to be crucial. Both players knew before hand how big it was. If Littler won it, it would of been 5-4 to Humphries. However, if Humphries had won it, he would have gone 6-3 up and one away from victory. The pair missed 10 darts at double in that leg, before Luke Humphries pinned double one to go within one leg of the Final. Humphries went on to win the match 7-4 in front of a great atmosphere in Prague. See match stats below.

Humphries Victorious in Prague – The Final
In the Final, Luke Humphries came up against Kim Huybrechts. Humphries hadn’t averaged below a ton so far in this tournament and that did not look like changing. Humphries started off the better player, and in the fifth leg, put on a little show for the crowd, when he took out 132 on the bullseye. Luke played like a robot, just like he’s been doing for the past year and he looked unbeatable. Luke Humphries won the game 8-1 to win the Czech Darts Open and wrap up an astonishing week of darts, in front of an unbelievable crowd. See match stats below.
