Firestorm Flame Darts Review – How they look
Firestorm Flame Darts Review – Winmau has released some beautiful darts but these might just be the best. The Firestorms have a unique design which really makes them stand out. The barrel has a lovely curve on it and fades from red into orange then to yellow. These are certainly the darts for you if you want to be noticed. Also the flights that come with the dart perfectly match the barrel which really does make for a stunning dart.
Firestorm Flame Darts Review – How they feel
As you can see looking at these darts they have loads of little bumps and grooves in them, which is also what gives them that unique look. This also makes them extremely grippy. Compared to my last pair of darts it’s like night and day in how many times they slip out my hand. The grip is like no other dart I’ve used and that’s not an exaggeration. They stick to your fingers even if they are a bit slippy it doesn’t seem to affect it. I hold the dart at the top of the barrel right by the stem, which sometimes causes me problems with other darts. With these I still seem to have a really good grip and the dart feels great in my hand. Winmau described the grip as using the latest mill-grip technology. The darts are 90% Tungsten and in my opinion they are the best value for money 90% Tungsten darts out there with how they look and how they feel.

Firestorm Flame Darts Review – Variations
Winmau did release the Firestorm Flame 1 which has a straight barrel compared to the Firestorm Flame 2 which I have been reviewing which has a curved barrel. I haven’t played with the Firestorm Flame 1 so I can’t really comment on how they feel but just visually in my opinion the Firestorm Flame 2 look better with the curved barrel.
