The 2024 Betfred World Matchplay will take place from July 13-21 at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

The iconic summer tournament will see 32 of the world’s top stars battling it out across nine days for the Phil Taylor Trophy and £800,000 in prize money.

The tournament will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK, through the PDC’s worldwide broadcast partners including DAZN and Viaplay, and on PDCTV (excluding subscribers based in the UK, Germany, Austria & Switzerland).

Tickets purchases limited to six per person per session.

Season Tickets were available as renewals to long-standing purchasers, and have sold out.

Tickets sold subject to standard PDC Terms & Conditions. Ticket prices stated do not include any booking or transaction fees. The PDC advise fans to only purchase tickets from official Box Offices advertised on the PDC website.

All games have to be won by two clear legs, with a game being extended if necessary for a maximum of six extra legs before a tie-break leg is required. For example, in a first to 10 legs first round match, if the score reaches 12–12 then the 25th leg will be the decider.

The first round is played first to 10 legs, second round first to 11 legs, quarter-finals first to 16 legs, semi-finals first to 17 legs and final first to 18 legs.

Runner Up – £100,000
Semi Finalist – £50,000
Quarter Finalist – £30,000
Second Round – £15,000
First Round – £10,000

The top 16 players on the PDC Order of Merit at the cut-off point on 7 July will be seeded for the tournament. The top 16 players on the ProTour Order of Merit, not to have already qualified on the cut-off date will be unseeded.
