Darts from another planet – Last weekend Luke Littler played in the Czech Darts Open and made it to the Semi Finals, where he was beaten by the winner of the tournament Luke Humphries. However his run to the Semi Finals was astonishing. Littler switched back to his old darts, and came up against Nathan Aspinall first. Lets just say I think it worked switching back to his old darts. Littler won the match 6-1 with a record average in the Czech Darts Open off 110.43. Luke took out 124 to win the match and make sure he set the record average. After that Aspinall smiled and threw his darts in the air to almost say he couldn’t do anything about that. See match stats below.

Next up for Littler was Damon Heta. Now Heta probably thought Luke can’t play much better than he did against Aspinall. He would have been very wrong. Luke Littler managed to beat the record average in this tournament, which was set by him the day before, and averaged a whopping 116.51 and won 6-3. Heta tweeted after that at least he managed to win three legs against him. Luke also went six darts into a nine darter in the last leg, which is the only thing missing from that performance. See match stats below.

Darts from another planet – Highest Euro Tour losing average
Then in the Quarter Finals for Luke Littler was the “Green Machine” Michael Van Gerwen. Now if you have ten minutes spare please go on Youtube and watch this game, it is unbelievable. MvG won the opening leg in 13 darts, which put him 1-0 up. The next leg is where the magic really started, both MvG and Littler were sat on 181 after six darts. Littler ended up winning the leg with a nice little 12 darter. The crowd were on their feet and making a lot of noise after a fantastic start to this match. Luke won the next leg and then took out 106 with Michael sat on 25, fantastic darts from Littler which saw him go 3-1.
Both players missed darts at double in the next leg, but it was Littler who pinned double tops to go 4-1 up. At this point both players were averaging 111, astonishing darts. The sixth leg saw three 180s which meant in six legs of darts we had been treated to ten 180s, what more can you ask for. Littler won that leg to go 5-1 up and one away from victory. The last leg was just like the other six, incredible. MvG put the pressure on Littler with a 177, however Luke still kept his cool and took out 88 to win the game 6-1. Luke Littler ended up averaging 110.57, with Michael Van Gerwen averaging 112.19, which is the highest losing average on the European Tour ever. See match stats below.
