Consolation Cup last 16 – Last night we went to support the Prince of Wales, as they played in the Consolation Cup against the Red Lion, Bomere Heath. It was a fantastic evening, the pub was packed, and both teams played to a very high standard.

The Prince of Wales started strong with the 1st player firing in some big scores, to comfortably win the first game.
The 2nd and 3rd game was all about hitting those doubles, with the Prince of Wales finishing better, to make it 3-0. The Red Lion managed to pull it back to 3-1, with some brilliant darts from one of their players.
Then the Prince of Wales bounced back and secured the win, with a solid 2-0 performance from a very inform player.
Red Lion came back with another win but it was too late, as the Prince of Wales won 5-2 to reach the quarter finals. It was excellent to see everyone having a great time, and playing some superb darts. We can’t wait for the Quarter Finals!
