Chizzy victorious in Antwerp – Dave Chisnall picked up his second European tour title in 2024 when he won the Flanders Darts Trophy in Antwerp, Belgium. It was an all English affair in Chisnalls opening game when he came up against โThe Machineโ James Wade. Dave won the match comfortably, hitting the center off double tops to seal a brilliant 6-2 victory. It was a superb performance from Chizzy, averaging over a ton and 60% on the doubles. See match stats below.

Chizzy victorious in Antwerp – Round of 16
The Round of 16 saw Dave Chisnall come up against an inform Gabriel Clemens who the night before had sent Michael Van Gerwen home. It was another 6-2 win for Chizzy and another ton plus average. Clemens wasn’t able to reach the heights that he did against Van Gerwen the night before. Even if Clemens had played as well as we all saw him play against MVG, there’s no guarantee he would have beat Chisnall with how well he is playing. See match stats below.

Chizzy victorious in Antwerp – Quarter Finals
In the Quarter Finals Peter Wright was Dave Chisnalls opponent. Both players started off pretty evenly, Wright kept pulling two legs away however Chizzy kept pulling it back. After seven legs the game was sat at four legs to three in favour of Peter Wright. Chisnall managed to get the game back to 4-4 and then hold his throw to go one leg away from victory and a space in the Semi Finals. Last weeks champion Peter Wright did not give up, he took out 141 when Chizzy was sat on 72 to take the game to a last leg decider. It was tight last leg but Chisnall was the one who took his chance hitting the bullseye to take out 87 and book his spot in the Semi Finals of the Flanders Darts Trophy. See match stats below.

Chizzy victorious in Antwerp – Semi Finals
The Semi Finals of the Flanders Darts Trophy in Antwerp was Dave Chisnall against Chris Dobey. It was a fantastic start to the game with both players breaking each other’s throws and firing in plenty of 180s. Chisnall was the first to pull away, when he hit double tops, to make the game 4-2. The pair of them then held their throws which left the game at 5-3 to Chizzy. Missed darts at double cost Dave in the next two legs. This allowed Dobey to punish him and pull the game back to 5 legs a piece. Chizzy won both the remaining legs on double 19, a slightly odd way to win a game of darts, but he won’t care. See match stats below.

Chizzy victorious in Antwerp – The Final
It was a surprise opponent in the Final for Dave Chisnall, as Ricardo Pietrczko beat Luke Humphries in the Semi Final. Like most of Chizzy’s games, they’ve been very tight starts and this one was no different. Both players couldn’t really escape one another in the opening legs. In the eleventh leg of the match, Chisnall missed two darts at double to break Ricardo’s throw and go 6-5 up. Ricardo then kept his cool and hit double 16 with his last darts in hand and go two legs away from victory. It was Chisnallโs turn to keep his cool in the next leg, and he did just that. He cleaned up 87 when Ricardo was sat on 80 ready to punish him. Dave really showed his quality in the next leg when he took out 115 to break Ricardo’s throw and go one away from becoming the first Flanders Darts Trophy Champion. Chizzy won the last leg, winning the game 8-6 and picking up his eighth Euro Tour Title. See match stats below.
