The World Cup Of Darts heads to Frankfurt for this year’s tournament. One of the best and most unique competitions on the PDC circuit takes place on Thursday 27th of June until Sunday 30th of June.
Littler Wins Premier League – It was history for the teenage sensation Luke “The Nuke” Littler, as he wins the Premier League on his debut. Not only did Littler win the tournament, he also hit a nine dart leg in the final against Luke Humphries. Only him and Phil Taylor have ever hit a nine darter in the final of the Premier League!
Premier League PlayOffs Preview – The Premier League of Darts heads to the O2 Arena in London for the PlayOffs. Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Michael Van Gerwen and Michael Smith will all compete to be crowned Premier League Champion 2024 and take home a whopping £275,000.
Michael Smith Guarantees PlayOff spot by beating Nathan Aspinall 6-3 in Sheffield. Smith was in tears when he was being interviewed on the stage after. Just shows how big this tournament is and how much it means to the players.
Premier League Night 16 Preview – The Premier League of Darts heads to Sheffield for the last night before the PlayOffs. The second game of the evening is what they call in boxing “The Main Event”. Its an unbelievably crucial game and the pressure is right on for both players. Its fourth place Nathan Aspinall against fifth place Michael Smith.
As predicted…Luke Humphries Runs Riot in Leeds as he claims his fourth Nightly win of this year’s Premier League. The Champion of the World changed his shirt to the Leeds United colours. Humphries is a massive Leeds fan therefore had the crowd on his side all night. He also changed his walk on song, this again went down well with the crowd as he walked out to “I predict a riot” by Kaiser Chiefs.
The Premier League of Darts heads to Leeds for Night 15 in what promises to be a fascinating night of darts. Theirs some cracking matches in store for us, including Luke Humphries against Rob Cross and Nathan Aspinall playing Michael Smith.
Littler wins in Aberdeen. Luke Littler makes it four nightly wins in the Premier League and qualifies for the Play Offs in May. His win over Rob Cross in the final moved him eight points clear of the World Champion Luke Humphries at the top of the table.
Premier League Night 14 Preview – The Premier League of Darts heads to Aberdeen for Night 14 as the play offs draw ever closer. There are some cracking games for us to look forward to, one of them being a repeat of the Semi Final in Liverpool, Luke Littler v Nathan Aspinall. Also, peter Wright plays in front of his home Crowd, it should be some atmosphere in Aberdeen.
It was the perfect week for Luke Littler as he was victorious in Austria on Sunday, defeating Joe Cullen 8-4 in the Final. Then a few days earlier on Thursday he secured his third nightly win in the Premier League. Beating Rob Cross 6-2 in the Final averaging 105!
It was Glory for Anderson in Germany as he beat Ross Smith in the final 8-6, winning his second European Tour Event 10 years on from his first. The premier League heads to Liverpool for Night 13 and theirs some blockbuster games. The stand out one being top of the table Luke Humphries against last weeks winner Nathan Aspinall.
