Newcastle witness Littler masterclass – On Thursday Newcastle saw Luke Littler destroy everyone he came up against, in an unbelievably quick time. He won all three games in a combined time of 36 minutes. The first game for Littler was against Stephen Bunting, who has failed to pick up a win in this year’s Premier League of Darts. Littler ran riot in this match, winning the game in 10 minutes, averaging 109, and stopping Bunting winning any leg, even though he averaged 102.
That took 10 MINUTES! ⏰

Newcastle witness Littler masterclass – Semi Finals
Rob Cross was Luke Littlers opponent in the Semi Finals. Littler has got the better of Cross in the majority of the matches they’ve played this year, so Luke was going in to it, as strong favourite. Luke gained control of the match, pretty early on. Although Cross did manage to pick up a few legs, Littler was still a level above. Luke went on to win the game six legs to three, and book his spot in the final.

Newcastle witness Littler masterclass – The Final
It was the Final that everyone in Newcastle would have wished for, Luke Littler against the world number one, Luke Humphries. However, the game did not pan out the way people expected. Humphries looked like he had ran out of steam, and Littler, although not at his best, managed to just cruise his way to victory. He won the match six legs to one, which made it four out of eight nightly wins, and put him eight points clear at the top of the table.
