Littler victorious in Belgium

Littler victorious in Belgium – Last weekend saw the first European Tour event of the year take place, in Belgium. After winning the UK Open and Night Five of the Premier League in Brighton, Littler was going into this tournament full of confidence. He won his first game 6-3 against Ryan Searle, then his second game 6-4 against Luke Woodhouse. This set up a Quarter Final matchup with Dave Chisnall. Both players threw some great darts, but Littler just managed to edge it in the last couple of legs, winning the match 6-4.

Littler victorious in Belgium – The Final

Littler’s opponent in the Final was Mike De Decker. Being from Belgium, Mike had the crowd on his side, which would have given him a massive boost. It was very even in the opening couple of legs, but it was Luke Littler who made the first big step to victory. He broke De Deckers’ throw, which made the game 4-2 and put Luke four legs away from victory. Littler had the opportunity to win the game with a 170 checkout. He teased the fans and ended up throwing his last dart at the number ten to leave himself double twenty, when he returned to the oche. Yet again, Littler hit double tops to win the Lecot Belgium Darts Open.
