Humphries wins week one – Thursday night Belfast witnesses the return of the Premier League of darts, 17 weeks off the best darts players in the world, going head to head. In the first round Humphries came up against Nathan Aspinall. Humphries started the better player, therefore dominated Aspinall in the opening legs. Putting him 4-0 up in a race to six. Nathan then managed to get two legs back, which got the crowd in Belfast on their feet. However Humphries kept his cool and took out 75, to win the match 6-2.

Humphries wins week one – Semi Final
In the Semi Final Luke Humphries came up against a confident MvG, off the back of beating the World Champion, Luke Littler in the Quarter Finals. Both players started well, but if was Humphries who landed the first blow. Checking out 140 to go 3-1 against van Gerwen. It was a fantastic game, with the pair of them hitting big scores and exchanging legs. It went all the way to a last leg decider, before Luke Humphries pinned double sixteen, with his last dart to progress through to the final.

Humphries wins week one – The Final
The crowd in Belfast was treated to a FInal between Luke Humphries and Chris Dobey. The crowd and everyone watching was not disappointed in the opening leg. Luke took out 128 to get the game off to a cracking start. That set the tone for the rest of the match. Humphries controlled the game from here on in. He won the next five out of six sets, to win the game six legs to one, and become the night one winner, in Belfast.
