Winmau World Masters 2025

Winmau World Masters 2025 – On Sunday Luke Humphries was crowned the Winmau World Masters champion, after the tournament made its return to the PDC circuit. The Winmau World Masters, is a set format, however it differs from the World Championship, as the players only require two legs to win a set. Humphries started his campaign off strongly, he dispatched Joe Cullen 3-1, which then booked him a spot with Josh Rock, in the Round of 16. He made even easier work off Josh Rock, beating him 4-0 to progress through to the Quarter Finals.

Winmau World Masters – Quarter Final

Then in the Quarter Finals it was a matchup with the Aussie number one, Damon Heta. The game started fantastically, with both of them firing in 180s. After Humphries won the opening set, Heta managed to claw one back. This set the game up nicely at one set a piece. However, Luke stepped it up a gear from there. He took his average up to nearly 105, this allowed him to pick up the next three sets, and win the game four legs to one.

Winmau World Masters – Semi Final

Danny Noppert was Luke Humphries’ opponent in the Semi Finals. Noppert took the opening set, winning it 2-0, however as the best player in the world does, Luke hit straight back and leveled it a 1-1. The next two sets were shared, before Humphries took the lead and made it three sets to two. Just like the Quarter Final, Humphries gained control of the match and went on to win it. Luke won the next two sets to win the game 5-2 and book his spot in the Final.

Winmau World Masters 2025 – The Final

The Final of the 2025 Winmau World Masters was between Luke Humphries and Johnny Clayton. The pair of them started the game brilliantly. Both players were exchanging legs, and after four sets it was two a piece. Again, just like Humphris has done all weekend, he started to take control, winning the next three sets to put one hand on the trophy. Clayton did not give up. He produced a remarkable comeback and pulled the game all the way back to five sets a piece. Onto the deciding set, the crowd were on there feet, no one expected Clayton to have pulled it back to this position. It was Luke Humphries who managed to pin tops, to become the Winmau World Masters Champion.
