Bunting wins Bahrain Masters – Off the back of a great run in the World Championships, Stephen Bunting was crowned the 2025 Bahrain Darts Masters Champion. Bunting’s opening game was against India’s number one, Kumar. Stephen put in a very professional display and brushed him aside, winning six legs to two. Bunting’s opponent in the Quarter Finals was another player who had a fantastic run in the World Championships, Chris Dobey. However the game was far from evenly matched. Stephen destroyed Dobey, winning six legs to 0, averaging a whopping 111 against a very below par Dobey. See match stats below.

Bunting wins Bahrain Masters – Semi Finals
Then in the Semi Finals, Bunting came up against the now former World Champion, Luke Humphries. The game was fantastic, not the highest of averages which made it even more unpredictable. The pair of them kept exchanging legs, which meant the game went all the way to a last leg decider. With both players picking up six legs each, it all came down to the thirteenth leg. The last leg couldn’t have been any closer. They both left themself on a two darts finish after nine darts thrown. Stephen Bunting was the one who stepped up first and took out 96, despite hitting five with his first dart. See match stats below.
